Launched in October 2021, the Haringey Business Support Programme (HBSP), is a new service that offers free business advice and support for small businesses based in Tottenham, Wood Green, Turnpike Lane, and Green Lanes.

Business support company and experts Hustle & Heels have been appointed to deliver The Haringey Business Support programme, which will help small business owners to survive and recover from the adverse impact of the pandemic. It will also support businesses with growth potential to expand and increase sales and profits. In addition, it will support residents to start new businesses or become self-employed.

What does the

programme involve?

Haringey startups and business owners will receive free and practical one-to-one advice and support from a range of business experts, who will provide specialist advice and support in the following areas:

• Launching and starting a new business;

• Developing robust business plans to secure finance and to ensure growth;

• Sales and Marketing including social media platforms;

• Finance and financial management including cashflow management and business & continuity planning;

• Trading and doing business online including support to adopt cashless sales operations;

• Advice and support to expand customer base and identify new customers;

• Advice and support to improve customer service skills;

• Embedding formal management processes and systems including HR;

• Help to secure Government grants and loans from banks and other financial institutions.
